| The Free Spirits Horsemanship Team began in 2000. The purpose of the team is to help young people learn and share knowledge about horses. The Mounted Drill Team started as a way for the club’s members to increase their riding skills and team spirit. The riders perform various difficult choreographed patterns to music within a 10-minute period. Our drill team competes yearly at the Georgia Horse Council Drill Team Competition. The Free Spirits Teams have competed for the past seven years against teams from all over the Southeastern United States. We also perform at several local rodeos during the year The teams have won many first place awards in the Open, Youth, Quad and 4-H divisions. |
